Yes I gave my OWN book 5 stars Of course I did If I didn't like my book I don't think anyone else would either I've had readers ask me why I haven't rated my books wanted to know what was wrong with them I've also had readers inform me that I shouldn't rate my books stating it isn't right I'm not sure what the correct answer is After all nothing in life is black and white there's gray areas in everything So please know when you see my five stars on my books they're not posted to inflate my ratings or trick anyone They're posted because I love all my babies I hope if you find them pleasant reads that you'll love my babies too If you discover you didn't connect to my stories I'm sorry they weren't your cup of tea and I still wish you nothing but happy reading

Fun Highland readI purchased this book on a whim but it was fun and I thoroughly enjoyed it The characters are fun and mysterious and the nasty characters are despicable — perfect for this story Kept me entertained and I enjoyed

I thought I had already reviewed this wonderful book here Maeve Greyson what can I say but that I'm a forever fan of this exciting author I will follow her work and stalk her blogs I used to read historicals a lot in my younger days But they got old They were all the same after a while for me Young lass is forced to wed older rake Though handsome there's only so much this independent country gal can take of uber forceful men I lost interest and hadn't read a historical in many years Then I picked up friend Michelle Styles's Gladiator can't regret that move Since then I am growing a new appreciation for the genre However Maeve weaves a different type of story than Grams's old historicals Magic sorcery and a hero who can't physically touch his beloved heroine How the hell can it be a romance then? Because Maeve does a superb job of bringing the reader inside the mystical orb with the hero so that we still feel that these two lovers are destined to be together I couldn't put it down I didn't know how or when but I never doubted that I would be satisfied in the end and I was not let down in the least READ THIS BOOK no matter what other reviews you read on it And you won't ever see a bad review for this book unless a total idiot slips out of their straight jacket and gets hold of a crayon

4 12 STARS I REALLY wish Goodreads would allow a half star with their ratings as this book was so much than a four star What an exciting premise to a story this was The magic of the Celts and the romance of a time gone by A strong hero who'd waited for and found his true love at last and a lonely woman who thought her dream lover was merely that a dreamThis book took me out of the everyday and into another world The author's world was so real that even the magical elements seemed plausible and it was a real wrench to tear myself away to deal with my own day to day life I thought about the characters during those enforced moments and now that I've finished the book I think about them still That for me is the mark of a great book

Druids time travel hot highlanders Need I say ? This is actually the fourth book in this series The other books are written under a different name I will look that name up if anyone is interested I am not on my regular computer right now I did rate the others a 4 I think this one was betterUpdate Maeve Greyson wrote the first three books in this series They were written under the name Deborah Stigall I recommend picking them up to read prior to this one

My first book from Maeve Greyson Beyond a Highland Whisper was entertaining at times and an interesting readLatharn MacKay's success with women brought him only troubles A powerful witch locked him in a sphere as punishment for rejecting her His only way out was his true love's desire to save him from his prisonIt all started well The plot had a direction interesting characters and a lot of magic to keep me entertainedHalf way though the read i started wondering when the end will come Why? Somehow I couldn't like Nessa with all her insecurities that were to much to put up with So many doubts and I had enough of her Her friend Trish believed faster Latharn's story and not Nessaand then when Latharn came outit all went nowhere Even Gabriel's presence in the story was forces and his attentions towards NessaI was reading and I had no idea what was happening to the story After the 3 days sexaton Nessa remembered she had insecuritiesit all felt childish and unnecessary All this usage of magic and teenage misunderstandings started to grate my nervesThe end was a say what? A naked erect Latharn seducing the witch for the grater goodhmmmThe story didn't read as well thought and put together The romance and character build were not enough and somehow i couldn't like Latharn and Nessa together Combine that with a childish plot and the result is a 25 star story and 4 babies for the happy couple scratching head I guess that will have to do it if one lived in a ball for so long
