A very intriguing read with tales that are much different from what western readers are used to Sometimes I wished I had knowledge of the animals featured in the stories so that I could appreciate the minute details of their behaviors portrayed One star lost not because of content but because the collection was too short compared to the archives it draws from and lacks any kind of notes or comments which would have been extremely helpful For interested readers a great book for story researchers I suggest the original texts and notes also available online
